Thanks for your thoughts, this post was really insightful. I was encouraged as I am trying to fast unhelpful, thoughts that spiral into wasted time and hijack hours. I really love your substack posts. I find myself rereading often. Write on!

I just ordered Elizabeth Elliot: A Life, and plan to read it as well.

"Here, then, is the good news of the gospel, that the only place to begin is at the point of need. Nothing is needed except empty hands and a humble heart, this broken and contrite spirit that God will not despise." I love this. Thank you.
