Jen, for what it's worth, you almost always say something that's thought-provoking and encouraging in these emails. So while it's a burden to write them, you're carrying that burden on behalf of folks like me who receive grace from what you share.

I’m also and Enneagram 1 obliger. It’s a tough way to live! Thank you for letting us know about Dante. I constantly bemoan my mediocre education, so I’m excited about this resource.

You are RIGHT! Impossibly high standards that we likely often fail! Let me know what you think of Dante!

Jen, I'm actually a questioner and what resonated the most with me about this was the making a choice, placing a stake in the ground even if we aren't sure of the outcome. Much of my work is self-directed as well and this was a beautiful insistence that I continue to choose well, that I decide on the next thing and do it. Thank you for your vulnerability. Your writing here matters. Now I also want to read Dante but I need to wait until Hebrew is over to do that.

Choosing is so hard because we can never know the outcome! I'm glad this was helpful for you, and may God establish the good work of your hands!
