I listened to a podcast yesterday of a woman in fashion who challenged herself to purchase no more than five new items of clothing a year. She came in at 11 items, significantly down from her typical yearly consumption, & talked about using what she had. The application of this is vast, and so important.

I really like this phrase: stewardship of self
